It's Washington's Birthday (Or Presidents' Day, Take Your Pick)!

Washington's Birthday, also known as Presidents' Day, is a federal holiday held on the third Monday of February. The day honors presidents of the United States, including George Washington, the USA's first president.

The College used to give us Presidents' Day off and the Tuesday following it. Now, with the new Academic Calendar, we get this whole week off. Go figure...

For me, it will always be Washington's Day all the way. There are other greats. of course, but I think GW was the "sine qua non" U. S. President.
